We are celebrating the protection of our 50th Protected Farm since our beginning in 2002. Since Bristol’s Farm in Canton is our fiftieth farm, we are thrilled to have a little celebration at the farm, and we would like to invite you to join us that day. We are inviting our friends, supporters, project partners and of course, the farmland owners of all 50 farms.
Saturday, June 15, 2019 — 2-4 pm at Bristol’s Farm 541 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT
- FREE & family friendly.
- “Soil” cake — made by a real soil scientist.
- Music.
- Farm stand shopping.
- Pick-your-own strawberries (for a fee).

A few more ways to support the farms you visit with CFT and get more from your experience:
– Help put the farmer on the digital map! Post pictures, check in and use the farm’s hashtag as well as CFT’s hashtag, #ctfarmlandpreservation. Let the world know about our amazing farmers, what they produce and why you love them!
– Wear shoes suitable for the farm and pack an umbrella or rain jacket. There will be a tent. The tour is like farm work, RAIN or SHINE!
– Make sure to bring cash and a cooler for taking home fresh farm goods.
