What follows is a letter from Guida’s Dairy President, Michael Young:
We are excited to announce that Guida’s Dairy, in collaboration with Connecticut Farmland Trust, will be hosting our 7th Annual Guida’s Charity Golf Invitational, which will be held at Lyman Orchards Golf Club in Middlefield, CT on Friday, June 28, 2019. Last year’s tournament was a great success and we were able to raise over $50,000 for charity. We are looking forward to continuing this tradition again this year.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the Connecticut Farmland Trust based in Hartford, CT. Your contributions will truly make a difference in the individual’s lives which this organization helps and will be instrumental in the success of the tournament. I would like to ask for your support in this annual event. There are several ways you can help us make this a success from providing raffle prizes or gift certificates to sponsorship funding opportunities, which are recognized through publications and signage. You can see several options available to you in the enclosed flyer. Additionally, you may also register online at www.guidas.com/golf. The deadline for high-res artwork is May 31. Registration will close on Friday, June 14.
I personally appreciate any support or contributions you can provide. The success of this event means a great deal to me because the funds generated will be able to help preserve working farms for future generations. In addition to being a worthy cause, this tournament will provide ample networking opportunities, a challenging golf course, and a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing you there!
