Once it\u2019s turned into a subdivision, it\u2019s gone forever. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We work to make sure that farmland will be there forever, so that the next generation of farmers will always have fields to sow and our children will have tomatoes on their plates.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EASEMENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is an <strong>agricultural conservation easement<\/strong>, you ask?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once finalized, a conservation easement will provide you the assurance that the land you cared for will be protected in perpetuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PARTNERSHIPS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strong partnerships are everything.<\/strong> Working together with statewide organizations, governmental agencies, municipalities, and local land trusts, we bring together funds to procure agricultural conservation easements on lands. As stewards of the land, we hold these easements in perpetuity \u2013 so the farms will stay farms forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STEWARDSHIP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The next step &#8211; maintaining farmland forever.<\/strong> There\u2019s more to protecting farmland than promising not to pave over fields. An easement is a landowner&#8217;s promise to care for the land. The goal of stewardship is to ensure that the terms of the easement are abided by. We make sure that if the land changes hands, the new landowners understand the terms of easement.
