Doris and Kenneth Veit, Rocklawn Farms’ owners, have long had an interest in preserving their farm, which has been in her family for several generations and farmed continually since the early 1800s. The 184-acre farm, a former dairy, now supports hay production. A majority of the approximately 61 acres of pasture and hay fields are covered by prime and statewide important agricultural soils. Rocklawn Farms is adjacent to several other active farms and the 130+ acres are protected by a local land trust.
The farm is privately owned and is not open to the public.
