Aimee Hoben

Aimee Hoben has served on the Connecticut Farmland Trust (CFT) Board from 2002-2013, rejoining in 2026. She is an attorney who has practiced land conservation law (including conservation easements for CFT) and is currently Vice President and Head of Reinsurance and Multinational Law at The Hartford.

She wrote the novel The Third Way about the struggle to save a South Dakota farm, which was awarded the 2023 Independent Publisher Book Award (IPPY) Gold Medal for Popular Fiction. She lives in Canton on land that’s been in her family for generations.
